John Lawrence Mallonee

John Lawrence Mallonee Jr. passed away July 20, 2015. He was born December 11, 1944 in Centralia, Washington to J. Lawrence and Winona Mallonee. John attended Boisfort school and graduated from W.F West High School. John enjoyed playing in the varsity band and showing cattle in the Chehalis FFA. He attended Centralia Community College.

John was a land surveyor and could tell acreage by site.

He found his love of dairy farming where he lived out his days on the tractor or just walking the land. John had been active in the Boisfort Fire Department, School Board, Water Board, Baw Faw Grange and was the current Cemetery Board President. John loved to hear the stories and see the pictures of his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his mother Winona Mallonee (Whitman), wife Mary Mallonee (Aust). Children: Maynard Mallonee (Kim), Jodi Lane (Ryan), Diana Frampton (Dave); Grandchildren: Nolan Frampton, Jacob Frampton, Jack Mallonee, Charlie Mallonee and Emily Mallonee. Hunter Lane and Makayela Lane.

In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Boisfort Cemetery, W.F West Class of 1963 scholarship fund or the charity of your choice.

A graveside service will be Friday, July 24, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Boisfort Cemetery. There will be a potluck reception at the Baw Faw Grange following the service.
