Jesse Scot Rolfe was born to Merle and Patricia Rolfe Jan. 19, 1983, in Centralia, Wash. When he arrived at home, he joined his three year old sister, Krissy Rolfe.
Jesse graduated from W.F. West High School, Chehalis, Wash. He was a member of the Boy Scouts Troop 373 of Chehalis, earning the rank of Eagel Scout April 21, 2001.
Jesse gained his wings on his 35th Birthday, Jan. 19, 2018, after a long and hard 15 year battle with End Stage Renal Failure in Portland, Ore. The pain and suffering is over and Jesse is now at peace, with Jesus.
Jesse loved road trips in his Dodge, his pride and joy. He enjoyed the beach and going up to the mountains to play in the snow with Joy and the children, Tate, Taron and Madison. Jesse helped raise the kids as his own and they proudly called him Stepdad. Jesse especially loved family events. Christmas time was something dear in Jesse’s heart, he loved putting up the Christmas tree and decorations, as well as decorating the outside. Special trips to the casino with Joy were some of his favorite trips.
Jesse is survived by his parents, Merle and Patricia Rolfe; sister, Kristina “Krissy” (Aaron) Wright; nephew, Noah; niece, Nai’a; girlfriend, Joy Smith and her children, Tate, Taron and Madison; grandma, Nancy Woodbury; special cousin, Amanda Woodring-Curry, who was like a second big sister; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends; and his beloved dog, Cowboy.
Graveside service will be at Mountian View Cemetery, Centralia, Wash., Friday, Feb. 2, 2018, 2 p.m., with a celebration of life potluck immediately following at the IAM Lodge, 2211 Foron Rd., Centralia, WA 98531.
