Jean Lucille Mann

Jean Lucille Mann passed away October 15, 2016, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born September 19, 1940, in Chehalis to Dominick & Maria Dipola. Jean graduated from Napavine HS in 1958. She was valedictorian, cheerleader & princess Napawinah. She kept in touch with her classmates and recently attended her class reunion at the beach. While her children were small Jean was a stay at home mom. She then went to work at the Chronicle for several years. Family was the single most important part of Jean’s life. Along with her husband Dave, they loved to participate & follow the activities of their children & grandchildren, including clam digging & following ball games. She also enjoyed gardening & canning the bounty of her garden. Surviving family are her children, David (Cindy) Mann, Winlock. Denise (Jim) Geist, Centralia. Dan (Lisa) Mann, Spokane and Don Mann, Centralia. Grandchildren Ryan & Tyler Geist and Jordan Mann. Step Grandson Uriah Kennedy. Great Grand daughter Madison Geist. Step great grandchildren Isaac, Jacob and Jazmyn Kennedy, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Jean was preceded in death by her husband David and parents Dominick & Maria Dipola. The family would like to extend a very special thank you to the staff at Welcome Home Adult Family care & hospice for the loving & compassionate care Jean received while under their care. . She requested no funeral services.
