Diana Mae (Sorensen) Hoffman

Diana Hoffman, age 76, went to be with her Savior on August 18, 2016. Diana was born on January 26, 1940 to William and Gertrude Sorensen in Chehalis, Washington. She graduated from Winlock High School in 1958. She met the love of her life, Alfred Hoffman, in 1958 in Seattle. They were married on December 31, 1958. They were married 57 years.

Diana is survived by her husband Alfred, daughters; Suzette (Robert) Lambert, Lisa (Paul) Collins and Lynnette (Thomas) Hoffman. She also had a foster daughter Joyce (Scott) Fanning. Her grandchildren; Bethany (James) Conaway, Nathanael Lambert and Kennedi Collins, great granddaughter; Hadassah Conaway.

She  also considered Dolores (Russ) Bedard and their daughter Andreya as her family.

She was a member of Vader Assembly of God Church where she served as Food Bank Coordinator and was a Sunday School Teacher and Youth Director.

Diana was proud of her education earning a Master's Degree in Counseling and had a private practice helping many in need. Diana loved to read, cook, bake, camp and travel to reach out to those in need.

She also loved going to Tennessee to listen to Southern Gospel Music.

Going for car rides with Al was her favorite pastime. They would either stop for an ice cream cone or have a hamburger and chocolate milkshake. This tradition went on for 57 years.

Macy's Department Store and Diana were great companions. Diana always liked looking pretty for every event. She loved clothes, shoes, jewelry and getting her hair done. She felt it was a blessing to have her loving husband, Al, daughters and grandchildren. Her family was so very important to her. Her family can't believe she is gone as they loved her so much, but rejoice that she is dancing with Jesus.

 Services will be held at Vader Assembly of God Church on Wednesday, August 24th at 1:00.m. with a viewing from 12:00- 1:00. there will be a graveside service at Lone Hill Cemetery following the service. A potluck at the church will follow. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Vader Assembly of God Church for the Food Bank or Youth Group.
