Catherine "Cathy" M Markham

November 19, 1952 ~ July 15, 2017 (age 64) 64 Years Old

Cathy M. Markham 11/19/1952-07/15/2017 Cathy was born in Tonasket Washington to William and Louise Kennedy. She grew up in Republic Washington where she graduated in 1970 at the top of her class, but those that knew her it was no surprise as she was a straight A student and very intelligent. As a young girl, she enjoyed helping her grandpa on his ranch. He owned 1500 acres with horses and 360 head of cattle. So, there was always plenty to do for her and her friends. Cathy had a strong passion for music her whole life. As a teenager, she and her friends had a band where she played the organ. Her mother also had a band and Cathy played the guitar and her mother played the organ. Shortly after graduating high school, she got married to Jim and had 2 children, Jamey and Leah Hendricks. Jim and Cathy divorced in 1981. After that Cathy met Frank through her friend Lennette. Frank and Cathy had 2 children together Brandy and Frank Junior “JR.” Through-out Frank and Cathy’s 13 years together, she got the chance to build a strong relationship with one of Franks daughters Christine. Cathy and Christine always maintained a strong bond until shortly before Cathy’s passing. In 1987 Cathy and Frank moved to Centralia Washington where they lived while they built a home in Chehalis. They moved into that home in late 1989. A few years later Cathy and Frank separated. Cathy was a waitress for many years and that is how she met her late husband ED and in 1993 they married. They started and ran a very successful decking and fencing company. In 1997 Cathy changed paths again and this time it was into the real estate industry. As like always, Cathy embraced it and became a very successful and outstanding real estate agent at Realty World now known as John L. Scott in Centralia Washington. Cathy was an outstanding mother. She loved her kids and family so much and they were her entire world. She would go without to make sure everyone else was ok. She was kind, caring, compassionate and the one always there to lend an ear to listen or a shoulder to cry on for anyone. She defiantly left us way to soon and left a huge whole in many hearts. Cathy leaves behind 3 siblings Diane, Pat and Ron Kennedy. 4 Children-Jamey, Leah, Brandy and JR and step-daughter Christine. Also 5 grandchildren- Dhaymion, Tasha, Ashleigh, Anthonie and Cheyanne with many other family members.
