Betty Clevenger was born
Betty Lee Williams Feb.
27, 1936. She was born in
Glendale, Ariz., to Elmer and
Jesse Williams.
Betty was a homemaker for
many years, where she cooked
fabulous gourmet meals,
as well as baked fantastic
desserts. She was also an
accomplished seamstress;
often designed patterns from
newsprint and created many
clothes for the children, as
well as many others around
the county. Betty was
extremely artistic and painted
quite frequently. Her love of
reading was well known, she
was often found with a book
in her hand.
Betty loved flowers and
made it her lives work, after
she successfully raised her
family, she worked at De
Goede Bulb Farm for over 20
years.
Betty is survived by
her children, Carol Reed
(Mike), Ronnie Clevenger
(Bonnie), Sandra Bauer, Esq.
and Tonya Rech (Travis);
sister, Joan Saminego;
brother, James Williams
PhD.; grandchildren, Jeffrey
Reed, Joseph Clevenger
(Jackie), Joshua Clevenger,
Jonathon Clevenger, Ryan
Mitchel (Whitney), Justin
Mitchel (Emilee), Veronica
Bauer, Adam Bauer and
Kyle Clevenger; greatgrandchildren,
Eljay Reed
and McKenna Mitchel; as
well as numerous nieces and
nephews.
She was preceded in
death by her husband, Merle
Edward; and her siblings, Bill
and Barbara.
A funeral will be held
Saturday, March 3, 2018,
at 11 a.m., at The Church
of Glenoma, Pastor Kevin
Gillespie presiding. A potluck
reception at church to
follow burial at Rainey
Valley Cemetery.
